Athletic Trainer Certification
Repetitive motion. Standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. May require some holidays. Other days/times determined by department needs and urgent situations.
UK Healthcare is currently seeking a clinical athletic trainer. Duties include: rooming patients, appointment follow up, patient education, home exercise programs, and other duties as assigned. This position is also responsible for managing patient calls into clinic pertaining to pre- and post-operative care, prescription refills and prior authorizations, and general patient care questions. The successful candidate must communicate effectively and professionally with physicians, patients, physical therapist and other healthcare providers.
