The Intern Athletic Trainer collaborates with other members of the Athletic Medicine Staff in the delivery of Athletic Training Services to student-athletes. This position will report directly to the Director of Athletic Medicine. Additional responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Athletic Medicine in the supervision of student workers and attending practices and games (home and away) of assigned sports. This position will also involve administrative assistance and be responsible for home event and post-season coverage of select sports. The Intern Athletic Trainer will also coordinate and maintain medical referrals and records and must maintain good standing with the NATA BOC and NE state licensure through continuing Education.
