Job Summary

 

This is a full time internship position, which includes benefits, with a term through May 31, 2027, and requires the person in this position to comply fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference) and Indiana University (IU) rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

General Responsibilities

  • Complies fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference), and Indiana University rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Adheres to the Code of Ethics of the National Athletic Trainers Association and State of Indiana Practice Act.
  • Evaluates, provides treatment and rehabilitation, and documents athletic injuries in consultation with health care professionals and in accordance with established practices, guidelines, and protocols.
  • Refers student-athletes to various medical resources and provides information based on injury evaluations in collaboration with medical professionals.
