Repetitive motion. Job-related travel. Standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs.
Mostly days Monday-Friday, sometimes to include weekends depending on athletic schedules for schools covered. It is expected that the individual in this position will work at times other than, or in addition to, normal business hours and days, including attendance at numerous evening and weekend events.

) Sports Medicine Lead Athletic Trainer position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team primarily dedicated to Morehead State University in Morehead, KY.
As the lead athletic trainer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of sports medicine services for student-athletes at Morehead State University. This includes providing injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to ensure the health and well-being of athletes.
You will collaborate closely with coaches, team physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support to student-athletes.
Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to sports medicine services, as well as providing education and training to coaches, athletes, and staff.
Supervisory duties include leading a team of

Sports medicine athletic trainers, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting the health and performance of student-athletes.
