The Athletic Turf Specialist is responsible for the day to day maintenance of athletics fields/requests. Additionally this position is responsible for daily campus grounds maintenance during winter months and/or when outdoor athletics is no longer active.

| Position Summary |
This position performs maintenance work and/or improved growing conditions for natural turf on intercollegiate athletic fields, intramural fields, the Recreation Center, Huskie Stadium, Yordon Center and other high intensity turf areas on campus.
Duties are performed under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Grounds and/or his/her designee.

Campus-Wide Snow Removal – 25%
Athletic Field Grounds Maintenance – 25%
Athletic Field Layout & Landscaping – 20%
Athletic Field Turf Maintenance – 10%
Collaboration with Facility Managers – 5%
Grounds Irrigation System Maintenance – 5%
Equipment Operation & Maintenance – 5%
Other Related Duties – 5%
Work experience in the professional maintenance of turf grass.
