Provides advising on academic and NCAA eligibility matters to student-athletes; coordinates academic support of student-athletes; assists with the department's Student-Athlete Development and Life Skills programming; creates and implements detailed plans of action for student-athletes considered academically at risk; and participates in NCAA eligibility certification.
| | Education Requirements: |
Bachelor's degree required.
| | Required Qualifications: |
At least one year of experience in academic advising, student services or related field required. Student experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big 12 Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.
| | Desirable Qualifications: |
Master's degree; athletics academic advising experience; experience with academically at-risk student-athletes; and experience with NCAA compliance and eligibility preferred.
