The Athletics Academic Advisor/Learning Specialist will provide academic guidance to prospective and enrolled student-athletes to ensure that they receive the academic advising and support needed to succeed academically and meet University and NCAA academic eligibility requirements.

The work hours for this position include occasional nights and weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Two years of academic advising experience
Knowledge of academic and graduation requirements, NCAA progress towards degree requirements, and other NCAA rules and regulations
Excellent organizational and degree planning skills
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to assess and create study skill development for at-risk student-athletes
Ability to collaborate across campus
Preferred Qualification:
Salary and Benefits
$50,000 annually and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 15 holidays, personal and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
