Assistant Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Welfare & Community Engagement
USCB Athletics invites applications for an innovative and student-centered Assistant Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Welfare and Community Engagement. This dynamic position plays a vital role in shaping the holistic student-athlete experience by advancing wellness initiatives, fostering meaningful community partnerships, and supporting the personal and academic success of our student-athletes.
Reporting within the Department of Athletics, the Assistant Director will design, implement, and assess programs that promote student-athlete well-being, leadership development, and civic engagement. This role serves as a key advocate for student-athletes, working collaboratively with campus partners, coaches, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, accountability, and a positive, inclusive athletics culture.

Serves as the Pitching Coach, responsible for all aspects of developing and managing a collegiate-level pitching program. Duties include training, teaching, and providing instruction to pitchers, as well as pitch calling during games. Prepares detailed scouting reports on opponents and upcoming competition throughout the season. Actively participates in recruiting efforts, including weekend and evening availability as needed. Oversees all recruiting activities for pitchers, including identifying recruiting locations, evaluating prospective student-athletes, and making scholarship recommendations.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of NCAA Division II, Peach Belt Conference, and USCB admissions standards, ensuring full compliance with all eligibility and recruiting regulations.
