Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist with the year-round development and implementation of Strength and Conditioning for assigned Division I teams.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Strength and Conditioning programs for 4-5 Division I teams. Development areas include strength, speed, conditioning, mobility, and all other areas of athletic development.
  
• Assist in areas of coaching Strength and Conditioning with all 33 Division I teams when needed.
  
• Daily maintenance of all equipment in Pitt Center.
  
• Assist with scheduling usage of weight rooms.
  
• Program development for assigned department areas by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field; Master's degree preferred in exercise science or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a college Strength and Conditioning setting.
  
• CSCS through the NSCA or SCCC through CSCCa
  
• CPR/AED certified
