Job Description:
Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the positions of Athletics Bus Driver / Transportation Operator III (T0032, T0033, T0034, & T0035). These are part-time, on-site roles for a CDL-PDriver. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting students, faculty, and staff in a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) that requires a Class P commercial driver's license (CDL). This role requires adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, as well as demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

These are part-time, non-exempt, temporary wage positions limited to an average of 29 hours per week and 1500 hours maximum per work year. Pay band 3. Commonwealth of Virginia benefits do not accompany these positions. A successful criminal background investigation is required. AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and other national service alumni are encouraged to apply.
