Athletics Business Asst., (Admin Asst) Minimum Salary: $37,735 per year, USCA Athletics
Serve as office manager and coordinate the general administrative services functions for the Department of Athletics. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of office management and employment policies, best practices and procedures; Ability to perform and/or coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously and with accuracy; collect, compile, and assemble information in a clear, concise manner; technological savvy to perform job duties at an advanced level and meet deadlines; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Significant experience with MS Office (Word, Excel & Access). Appreciation for diversity and higher education programs. Ability to deal with diverse situations/personalities. Extreme attention to detail. Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions. Ability to work independently. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting departmental policies and procedures. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 or more years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and 4 years of related experience. Proficiency with Banner, PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office. Prepare check requests and purchase requisitions, process invoices, deposits and assists the Assistant Athletic Director – Business Services with credit card reconciliation/requirements and ticket reconciliations.
