Required Qualifications: This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and one year of experience directly related to the job functions; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and three years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 7 years of direct experience.

Serves as the second-in-command in the Athletics Business Office

Ensure that Athletic Department Staff receive proper training in Business Office policies and procedures. Ensure that University and Departmental Policies and Procedures are followed.

Management, supervision, and training of graduate assistants, federal work study students, student employees, interns, etc.
Supervision Received
Minimum instruction and direction are given by the immediate supervisor on a daily basis. However, the supervisor is available for questions and clarification.
Program Direction and Development
Provide input on ways to improve the efficiencies of the Athletic Department.
Policy-making and/or Interpretation
Assist in the creation of the Athletics Business Office policies and procedures.
Level of Public Contact
Internal contact with most Athletic Department employees, including coaches, administration, part-time and full-time staff.
Monetary Responsibility
Responsible for processing millions of dollars of transactions every year. Assist in the monitoring and projecting of the Athletic Department budget, expenditures, etc. Handles and reconciles ticket sales as well as petty cash.

The holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations.
