Job Summary
Athletics Communications Student assistants work during home athletics events and assist the official statistics crew for selected volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis and baseball games.
Core Duties
Either serve as official statistics computer inputter or spotter/caller for official statistician. Facilitate and check on real-time live statistics being sent to PortlandPilots.com. Perform libero/substitution tracking duties at volleyball matches. Assist with in-game notes, gathering post-event quotes, running stats to team locker rooms. Other relevant duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Proficient computer and word processing skills. Knowledge of volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis and baseball scoring and statistics. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to work in athletics.
Preferred Qualifications
Green Dot full training certified or willing to go through the Green Dot training.
