The Gardner-Webb NCAA Graduate Intern for Compliance will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletics Director with daily NCAA compliance tasks, functions, and systems maintenance. In addition, this position will coordinate and provide support with NCAA, Conference and College reporting requirements.
Criticality of Position: The need for compliance personnel to oversee and process large volumes of requests and workflows daily cannot be overstated. Most of these checkpoints do not require significant experience, but they do require immediate attention to keep the compliance system active and engaged. Without this assistance, the compliance monitoring system stops working until the Assist AD for Compliance is finished addressing higher priority compliance issues.
Assist with all processes related to Recruiting, Financial Aid, NCAA Eligibility Certification, Academics, Playing and Practice Seasons, Recruiting, Name Image Likeness, Roster Management, Transfers, Awards/Benefits, etc
Work closely with various College offices such as Enrollment Management, Financial Planning, Registrar, Institutional Technology, etc.
Assist with all institutional, conference and NCAA data entry and reporting.
Will use applicable technologies, computers, software packages, and the Gardner-Webb computer network, including ARMS, Slate, NCAA Compliance Assistant, Transfer Portal, Eligibility Center, etc. to satisfy all processing needs.
Application:
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Candidates should complete the application and include a letter of interest, résumé, and names and contact information for at least three professional references with their submission.
