Job Description Summary
Student Equipment and Laundry Assistants will assist the Equipment Manager with laundry services and daily monitoring of equipment room activity. Candidates will gain knowledge of the daily operation of a college athletic program by working with coaches, administrators, and student-athletes.
Specific Duties
Work in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Multi-task and get assignments done in a timely manner Communicate effectively with people from all levels of the athletic department Be courteous to student-athletes and their needs Be respectful of the equipment of each sport and athlete Wash and dry uniforms, practice clothes, and towels Assist the Equipment Manager with equipment needs Familiarity with laundry equipment is a must Monitor window to equipment room Work other athletic events as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to wash and dry uniforms, practice clothes, and towels Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Familiarity with tools and athletic equipment
