Expired Date: Oct 08, 2024Augustana University (SD) is seeking qualified applicants for an Athletics Marketing and Fan Experience Graduate Fellowship position, 12-month Master’s in Sports Administration and Leadership program, averaging 15 hours per week, within our Athletics department. This position includes a 50% tuition assistance.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotions plans to increase ticket sales, game attendance and fan experience.
· Assist with Strategic Partnerships and the planning, coordination and implementation of all game day activities and promotions including but not limited to:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotions plans to increase ticket sales, game attendance and fan experience.
· Assist with Strategic Partnerships and the planning, coordination and implementation of all game day activities and promotions including but not limited to:
Apply NowPublic address scripts and timelines.
In-game promotions and giveaways.
In-game presentations sponsored by the University and/or the Athletics Department.
Marching Band performances.
Spirit – Cheerleaders, Dance Team, and Mascot.
All other game day related activities.
● Assist with fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.
● Assist with strategic marketing plan for Division I Men’s Ice Hockey program.
● Serve as a point of contact in athletics for the Viking Marching Band.
● Works with Marketing & Fan Experience with the planning and execution of the Viking Kid’s Club.
· Work with student-based clubs and community groups in order to increase attendance at athletic events.
● Serve as the supervisor of Marketing & Fan Experience student interns.
● Flexibility to work nights
Interacting with students, faculty and leadership with different backgrounds and points of view and a deep appreciation of and respect for academic values and culture must be a top value of the candidate.
Desired Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
● Relationship based sales experience, preferably in college or professional sports setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with customer service.
● Experience with fundraising / sales.
● Experience with hockey
