The Opportunity:
West Liberty University is seeking applications for Athletics Media Consultant. The Athletics Media Consultant will work in conjunction with the Director of Athletic Operations & the West Liberty University's Athletic Director on specific events, initiatives, and special projects. The Athletics Media Consultant seeks to foster a positive connection between sports teams and media outlets.
Requirements:
Journalism background required.
3-5 years experience in a sports information office setting is required.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social, print, and radio media, and outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to perform multiple job tasks under sensitive timelines.
- High level of professionalism.
