Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations, the Media Relations Assistant will work with several Towson teams for athletics communications. This individual will serve as a member of the external leadership team and will assist in all aspects of the department's verbal, written, video and internet-based communication. The Media Relations Assistant will also serve as the primary contact for coverage for assigned sports, assist with game day duties at athletic events, and aid in creating content and developing initiatives in new/social media and multimedia for the department's website and social media.

The work hours for this position include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Travel is required. This position is a full-time, 6-month contractual position.

Salary and Benefits
