Reports to: Director of Athletics

Basic Function: The Athletics Operations Assistant will provide operations and administrative support to the Director of Athletics and the Athletic Department.

Education and Experience Requirements: BA / BS preferred. Experience within an athletic and / or academic environment preferred.

Essential Functions: The Athletics Operations Assistant will be responsible for:

·Supports the Jesuit Catholic mission of Prep specifically through our Athletic program.

·Using Workday and collaborating with the Fairfield Prep and Fairfield University Business Office to process bills and payments for the various needs of the Athletic Department and produce expense reports for athletic office, coaches, teams and hospitality clubs for supplies, meals and travel.

·Input, update and monitor schedules and rosters for various platforms (CIAC, JesuitPride.com, etc.) for Prep’s 17 sports (Freshman, JV and Varity levels).

·Work alongside members of Fairfield Prep, Fairfield University and other community partners to reserve space for athletic contests, meetings, banquets, meals, masses, and other athletic meetings.

·Serve as a positive and welcoming, forward facing ambassador for Prep Athletics to key stakeholders (parents, peer school athletic personnel, and other internal/external constituents).

·Coordinate data gathering and entry for the Athletics Office and all teams.

·Acquire, update and maintain COI procurement for Town of Fairfield, Wonderland of Ice, Mt Southington, Pequot Yacht Club and other off campus athletic venues.

·Create and maintain distribution lists for coaches (including certification information), parents, intramurals, camps and more for all sports and activities

·Collect votes of All-SCC Teams for various sports, including Boys Lacrosse and Boys and Girls Tennis.

·Create, update and maintain camp registration documents and licensing with the Connecticut Department of Early Childhood Education

·Maintain an impeccable attention to detail and schedule management.

·Other miscellaneous responsibilities at the direction of the Director of Athletics

Performs such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/Fairfield Prep needs indicate.

This position is based at Fairfield College Preparatory School’s Fairfield, CT campus and is not eligible for immigration assistance.
