Position Summary 

The Athletics Operations & Compliance Coordinator serves as the primary administrative support professional for the Athletic Director while overseeing institutional compliance with NAIA reporting requirements. This position coordinates athletic department operations, eligibility certification, policy implementation, and special projects while assisting coaches with administrative functions.  

Essential Responsibilities  

NAIA Compliance  

• Coordinate all NAIA eligibility certification through PlayNAIA.
• Maintain compliance records for all athletic programs. 
• Monitor transfer eligibility requirements. 
• Ensure institutional compliance with NAIA bylaws and conference regulations. 
• Prepare documentation for NAIA audits and reviews.

• Coordinate all NAIA eligibility certification through PlayNAIA.
• Maintain compliance records for all athletic programs. 
• Monitor transfer eligibility requirements. 
• Ensure institutional compliance with NAIA bylaws and conference regulations. 
• Prepare documentation for NAIA audits and reviews. 
• Educate coaches regarding NAIA rules and updates.

NAIA Reporting  

Complete all required NAIA reports and surveys, including but not limited to: 

• Champions of Character Report 
• ROA Reporting and Data 

Athletic Director Support 

Serve as the Athletic Director's administrative liaison by: 

• Managing department-wide projects. 
• Drafting policies and procedures. 
• Preparing reports  
• Assisting with strategic planning initiatives. 
• Creating meeting agendas and recording minutes. 
• Coordinating annual calendars and compliance deadlines. 
• Assisting with budget tracking and purchase requests. 
• Managing departmental files and records. 

Student-Athlete Administration  

• Coordinate team eligibility certification each semester. 
• Track academic eligibility requirements. 
• Assist with student-athlete onboarding. 
• Coordinate student-athlete handbook updates. 
• Assist with orientation programming. 

Coach & Department Support  

• Assist coaches with administrative processes. 
• Coordinate department forms and paperwork. 
• Organize department meetings. 
• Track coaching certifications. 
• Coordinate onboarding of new coaches. 
• Assist with scheduling department training sessions. 

Event & Operations Support  

• Assist with game-day administration. 
• Coordinate special events. 
• Support postseason hosting responsibilities. 
• Assist with championship logistics. 
• Coordinate department travel documentation when needed.
