We strive to add hardworking people to our team and we are currently seeking an Athletics Operations & Facilities Manager in the Athletics Department. The annual salary for this position is starting at $47,000.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate all phases/staff of intercollegiate event/game operations and facilities to support 16 intercollegiate sports.
Coordinate Athletics maintenance to include total maintenance, improvement and game day preparation.
Work closely with coaches and staff to schedule practices and communicate changes.
Review all the development of annual written plan for the athletic facility maintenance as well as need for new equipment.
Identify and provide inputs in establishing short- and long-term plans for facility improvements.
Prepares annual reports as needed.
Assist in the insurance of compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes and safety requirements.
Meets with vendors.
Serves as department’s liaison with Physical Plant and outside contractors.
Supervises Equipment and Game Operations Coordinator.
Serves as facility representative.
Responsible for daily security and access to facilities.
Maintain inventory database of capital equipment.
Identify and document a preventative maintenance program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
2 years of experience in athletics event and facility operations.
Undergraduate experience, intern experience, collegiate, or other experience will be considered.
General knowledge of League and NCAA policies and regulations as they pertain to athletics operations, event management, and activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree preferred.
