Position Description
| Advertised Job Summary |
Reporting to the Director of Graphic Design and Photography, the Athletics Photographer is responsible for the capturing and management of photo content for the Athletics department. This includes game-days, non-game-day events, and select studio photography shoots. Other duties include oversight of student interns, and upholding brand and preset standards. This role will be instrumental in all creative areas, working closely with graphic designers, videographers, communications staff, etc.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of photography/graphic design experience, specializing in sports and college athletics which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Experience with photo shoots required. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Mac Book Pro. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google’s office tools (Google Calendar, Google sheets, etc.).

| Preferred Qualifications |
Basic knowledge of popular social media platforms. Ability to shoot quality photography in studio settings, including head shots, action photos, social settings and other athletics department events. Be proficient with Lightroom and Photoshop services, performing task as needed.

Highly organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment, and possess a strong desire to learn as well as teach. Possess a professional demeanor and ability to build a trusting relationship when shooting with players, coaches, and staff. Assume other duties determined by the Director of Graphic Design and Photography. Ability to work nights and weekends.
