Job Description
The Sports Information Assistant position is responsible for assisting our sports information & communications departments on a variety of projects related to the Drubner Center Athletics Department. This position requires approximately 20 hours per week as well as approval from financial aid for Federal Work Study.
This is a year-round opportunity with an anticipated start date of September 1st, 2023.
Location: On-Campus
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Statistical scoring/tracking of various sports
Possesses a strong comfort level with speaking on a microphone and/or interacting with visiting coaches/staff
Ability to communicate and work in a fast-paced atmosphere

Ability to operate audio/video equipment
Minimum Skills, Training, and Attributes
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
Strong oral and written skills
Understanding of how to operate sports-related software as well as audio/video equipment or the willingness and enthusiasm to learn how to operate sports-related software as well as audio/video equipment.

Students will acquire organizational and supervisory skills while learning time and energy management along with how to utilize various sports-related computer software/hardware/programs.
