Job Summary

As a Box Office Assistant, you will be a representative of the Athletic Department on game days and possibly during the week during normal business hours. This position will report to the Assistant AD – Tickets. We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and professional individuals that may or may not enjoy athletics, but definitely enjoy working with the general public.University of Portland Athletics is committed to change and stand against racism and systemic discrimination, in our department, program, on our campus, and in our community. Core Duties

Scanning tickets at games Working will-call at games Selling tickets at games on a computerized ticket system Answering questions and concerns from ticket holders General office duties Other relevant duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing, and professional Available to work games during the evenings, on the weekends, and possibly over breaks Ability to work shifts that range in duration Being ok with missing some home games due to job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Local students strongly preferred Green Dot full training certified or willing to go through the Green Dot training Interest in athletics Knowledge of various sports
