POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Head Men's Basketball Coach, position manages video services and technical support for the Men's Basketball program, while adhering to all NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. Plans, oversees and coordinates the filming of all men's basketball team practices, as well as, home and away games. Edits film developed in-house, as well as, film developed by opponent programs for the purpose of scouting; edits season film for the purpose of play study, review, and evaluation. Coordinates video exchange with other university's basketball programs. Develops and maintains film exchange agreements with opponent basketball programs for the purposes of mutual scouting. Stays current of changes in technologies, college basketball injury, video editing, computers, videography, and other related aspects of position. Researches and assesses new videographic methods and technology, and makes recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements. Works with professional team scouts to assist in the evaluation of the University's student-athletes in relation to men's basketball program. Develops and maintains inventory or video equipment, tapes, and peripheral equipment and related supplies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages video services and technical support for the Men's Basketball Program including planning, editing, and producing all videography used by the Men's Basketball Program.
Edits film developed in-house, as well as, film developed by opponent programs for the purpose of scouting; edits season film for the purpose of play study and review. Coordinates video exchange with other university's basketball programs. Develops and maintains film exchange agreements with opponent basketball programs for the purposes of mutual scouting.
Plans, oversees, and coordinates the filming of all men's basketball team practices, as well as home and away games.

Attends department and program meetings. May oversee/supervise student workers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field and one yearexperience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
PREFERRED:
Two to three years experiencedirectly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
