Role Summary:

Support the coaching staff and team with game-day, practice, and organizational responsibilities. This includes assisting with locker room and bench setup, game-day operations, equipment and supply organization, music and technology, and communication with team members, officials, and visiting teams. The manager will also represent Beloit College and the women’s ice hockey program positively and professionally.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Regularly attend team events: home games and team events that work with their schedule
2. Communicate with all members of the team.
3. Serves as a positive ambassador for the college across all social media platforms by demonstrating professionalism and alignment with institutional values and policies
4. Ability to work with variety of technology within the program
5. Help set up the locker room on game days, including organizing jerseys and player areas when the team has access to the locker room.
6. Set up additional seating/chairs when needed.
7. Help prepare the bench and other areas before games.; Prepare and maintain the team bench and designated game areas before, during and after the games (e.g. setting out water bottles, cleaning the bench and the surrounding area, etc.).”
8. Assist with score sheets and other game-day paperwork.
9. Help communicate with officials if a correction needs to be made at the scorekeeper’s table.
10. Assist visiting teams with finding and accessing their locker room.
11. Make sure the visiting team’s locker room and other necessary areas are properly set up.
12. Help with stick set up / organization
13. Set up game pucks and warm up pucks
14. Help with water bottle set up
15. Help with music for pregame, practice and games
16. Assist with organization and setup for select practices when needed.
17. Help with equipment or supply-related tasks before and after practice.

1. Experience with: Hockey teams and players
