The Fueling Station Assistant assists the University in meeting its short-term business demands by providing required services for a limited period of time. Additionally, the Fueling Station Assistant facilitates the meeting of goals and deadlines for the assigned division(s) in furtherance of the University’s overall goals and objectives.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides clerical, research, professional, administrative or technical support to the staff members of the assigned division.
Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
Meets or exceeds applicable goals and objectives set by managing staff.
Develops effective working relationships with co-workers and other staff.
Informs managing staff of any issues encountered in the performance of work functions.
Completes special projects and assignments in an efficient and timely fashion.
Leverages skills and abilities for the benefit of the University.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Department Specific Functions
Business Title: Baseball Fueling Station Assistant
Actively participate as a member of the University of Miami Olympic Sports Nutrition staff.
Inventory, stocking, ordering, and receiving of product for the Baseball Fueling Station as well as the weight room nutrition area.
Specifically fueling station products and stocking of supplemental weight room nutrition products
Assist with game day needs as necessary.
Maintain effective communication with departmental staff and report to dietitian overseeing baseball nutritional needs.
Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sports dietitian(s)
Department Specific Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Pursuit of bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or health-related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Availability for a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete work tasks with minimal direction
Knowledge of sports nutrition and food service management
Ability to be punctual, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Canva
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, to convey clear, well- articulated, information.
Strong organizational skills.
Apply judgment in problem solving of both a routine and complex nature.
