As this position deals with organizing and development of intercollegiate student-athletes, the three above Leadership degrees will receive hands on learning on a daily basis about structure, goal development and setting, communication of ideas and continued evaluation of student-athletes progress.
The Business Administration and Sports Leadership degrees will be enhanced because the graduate assistant be assist in fundraising, purchasing, and budget oversight.
Including, but not limited to the following duties:
Assisting in on-field coaching of players (position specific is negotiable) for both varsity and junior varsity games, practice planning and implementation, ability to throw batting practice, recruiting, field maintenance and supervision, scheduling and travel management; assisting in the academic progress and retention of student-athletes; engaging in fund raising; assisting with camps, clinics, and alumni functions. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of
NCAA

CCIW
and
NCC
rules and regulations.
Additional duties could be set according to the strengths of the GA and the needs of the baseball program.

Education/Training: Admission into a graduate degree program at North Central College is required.

A valid Drivers License is required.
