Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Baseball Operations Specialist handles essential administrative and operational tasks, providing compliance oversight, organizing travel, coordinating events, and managing financial administration, consistently following NCAA, Conference, and institutional guidelines.

  • Operates as the compliance liaison for the Baseball program, coordinating with and responding to all inquiries originating from the Athletics Compliance department.
  • Creates/develops itineraries for away competitions at the directives of Head and/or Assistant Coaches, and coordinates team travel.
  • Assists with and is responsible for the planning and coordination of fundraising events, community events, alumni events, official visits, etc.
  • Under guidance from the Head and/or Assistant Coaches orders and/or purchases sports apparel, sports equipment, team meals, office supplies, etc. for staff and student-athletes.
  • Attends team practices and competitions, and assists with operations and any set-up and tear-down tasks of sports equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
