Job Summary: The Beanery & Concessions Supervisor reports to the Food Services Director with the primary duties of supervising the Bulldog Beanery and concessions for athletic games at SWOSU. Acts as a resource for the food services department and builds effective, strong working relationships to enhance department operations and functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support services to the department in a manner that professionally, cordially, and efficiently assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors Ensures both the beanery and concessions are stocked with supplies Check production each day to ensure the order for the next day is complete Oversee employees to verify recipes are followed Monitor and assist with daily cleaning activities Post job openings, interview, hire and train beanery and concession student employees Responsible for departmental budget including submitting of purchase orders and credit card Maintain equipment and materials May periodically be required to assist within another role in the food services area Specific assignments are based on unit need and assigned by the manager which could include such things as ordering, troubleshooting equipment, and ensure cleanliness Competencies: Ability to multi-task, organize, manage time effectively, and keep tasks appropriately prioritized Ability to work with, assist, lead, and take directions from others in the interest of operating the beanery and concessions to their optimal efficiency Work Setting: Expectation of on-campus presence with attendance and punctuality Promote personal safety, safety procedures, and a safe work environment Employment at will Full-time status 12-month appointment Exempt About SWOSU: With locations in Weatherford, Yukon, Sayre, and online degree programs, SWOSU is one of the leading regional universities in the country. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in handling money Strong written, verbal, basic math skills, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of food production and handling and sanitary guidelines Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the President of SWOSU or their designee may find appropriate
