Vincennes University seeks ambitious candidates for a position in its External Relations Department to work with VU’s high-profile athletics programs at the NJCAA level.

Under the direction of the Senior Director of External Relations, the position of BlazerVision Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the needs of Vincennes University’s video board above the center court at the P.E. Complex. They will be responsible for approximately six student workers known as ‘The BlazerVision Crew’ that produce engaging multimedia content for live broadcasts and manages the video board during every women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball home contest. This encompasses approximately 50 games per year. This position is expected to assist in positioning the External Relations and Athletics departments to take advantage of these opportunities to better market and promote Vincennes University and VU Athletics.

This is a part-time position, located on the Main Campus of Vincennes University.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Game day production
• Production of team introduction videos, and other related projects
• Supervising BlazerVision student staff
• Maintaining video equipment and implementing hardware and software updates
• Performing troubleshooting, software configuration, and problem resolution with external technical service providers Performing other related duties as assigned. **There is also an opportunity for this individual to MC the games or guide a selected MC generating excitement and energy from the crowd.**

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• H.S Diploma
• Video Recording & Editing Capabilities

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Physical Demands: This role requires work in the evenings and on weekends depending on the VU athletics calendar and event schedule. This role requires the ability to report to work in person on the Vincennes Campus. Must comply with University and NJCAA rules, regulations, and policies.
