Position Summary Information

| Position Purpose |
The position is responsible for recruitment and retention of qualified football student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, retention, possess the ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA rules, PSAC, and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, CPR certification, practice and game planning, training, fundraising, community engagement, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics.

Bloomsburg Athletics is seeking an assistant football coach (defense) who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to coordinate, oversee, and organize all aspects of the program.

Full-time, 12-month position which requires the organization and supervision of all aspects of an academically strong and athletically competitive football program, including: recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA Division II rules, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, practice and game planning, fitness, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics. Position will work with the Head Coach on fundraising efforts and Alumni and Community engagement activities that benefit the football program, the Department of Athletics, and Bloomsburg. | | Decision Making |
