The Athletic Creative Team Student Worker will assist the Athletic Creative Team with a variety of photo and video related tasks. This may include producing creative assets for a designated Liberty Athletics team. It may also include the individual being assigned to and embedded with a designated team throughout their season. The creative deliverables may be used on Liberty Athletics social media (Twitter, Instagram, etc) as well as in recruiting. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team and to make a real impact promoting Liberty Athletics.
Creative, self-motivated individual who takes initiative.
Some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom.
Work as a member of the Athletic Creative Team to ensure that the creative needs of Liberty Athletics are met.
Demonstrate competency with social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Understanding of athletics and how to use video and photo content to tell a story.
Photography and/or videography experience preferred.
Effective communicator both verbally and written.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Ability to travel if needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Current Liberty University student
Some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills.
Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing work environments.
Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as assigned.
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform creative work or type on a keyboard.
Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
Regularly work in an outdoor environment, such as an athletics event.
Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop in order to conduct business.
Regularly lift 20 or fewer pounds.
Regularly required to see and discern colors.
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position will vary from climate-controlled office setting to outdoor athletic events. Noise level at athletic events can be moderate to loud.
