) Intercollegiate Athletics is looking for a financial professional with a passion for numbers and budgeting to join our team as a Budget Analyst.

competes in The Summit League for all sports except football (Missouri Valley Football Conference), wrestling (Big

Conference), and women’s equestrian (National Collegiate Equestrian Association).
Job Responsibilities:
To support the Athletic department by 1) overseeing the proper accounting of day-to-day transactional activity; 2) preparing monthly reports and contracts; 3) preparing monthly, annual, and ad hoc managerial reports for the athletic department and other duties as needed to support the effective operations of the athletics business office.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
· Demonstration of generally accepted accounting principles and practices; and
· Advanced Knowledge of Excel, Banner and potentially other proprietary software as needed.
Skill & Ability to
:
· Interpret, comprehend and apply policy, rules, laws and regulations for institution, state, federal, and a variety of funding agencies;
· Effective time management and prioritization of activities;
· Research, compile, analyze, and present data, providing a high level of accuracy with an extension to detail;
· Communicate information clearly and accurately to others in person, in writing and other communication avenues;
· Must exercise tact, patience, discretion and a professional demeanor;
· Use a computer and all applicable software as needed;
· Provide outstanding Customer Service; and
· General knowledge and interest in athletics preferred
