Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
Strong leadership abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
Skill in establishing rapport with internal and external constituents.
Knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations.
Effective communication skills.
Prior experience in
NCAA
Division 1 Athletics.
Ability to set priorities and manage heavy workload.
Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration for Master’s degree.
The Department of Athletics at Texas State University is now accepting applications for the position of Business Operations Coordinator.
The position will assist with duties related to the overall operations of the athletics business office, including procurement, travel, accounts payable and personnel actions to support the overall mission of the department.
Responsibilities include:prepare invoices for payment; reconcile payments to the university financial system; create and process requisitions and purchase orders; assist with the procurement card program; assist with the student and temporary employment program; make reservations and process individual travel paperwork; assist with team travel management; maintain positive relationship with vendors and university accounting, purchasing and travel office staffs; understand and implement department policies and procedures; other duties as assigned.
