What You’d Be Responsible For
Recruitment of student-athletes
Compliance to NCAA and University rules and regulations
Provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes
attend and assist in conducting regular practice sessions
Monitor eligibility status and promote academic progress
Compile data and reports as requested
Participate in clinics, exhibitions, and camps as requested
Assist in maintaining good alumni and booster relations
What Qualifies You to Apply?
Required :
Bachelor's Degree (must have required degree by start date)
Basketball playing and/or coaching experience
Knowledge and understanding of Division I basketball and NCAA rules and regulations
Willingness to uphold and live by the university's Honor Code
All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend, which may be verified during the application process.
Preferred :
College coaching experience (strongly preferred)
Recruiting experience
Knowledge and understanding of university policies
