Position Profile
The successful candidate will be assisting the Director in instructing and organizing all aspects of the Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning Program for assigned sports including training, technical supervision, evaluation and preparation for practices and competition. The incumbent’s duties will include but are not limited to; assist Director in the overall operations of the Mike Knapp Weight room including maintenance, ordering equipment and inventory; assist with the organization and implementation of the Sports Dietician program currently established; provide supervision and professional scheduling and staff coverage. The successful candidate must maintain professional certifications established by the NCAA.
Due to the nature of events, flexibility in work schedules is required.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
In accordance with the Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Collective Bargaining Union Contract, compensation for the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is at the rank of a Coach A for 2024-2025.
