Position Profile
The Assistant Director of Facilities Management (Athletic Facilities) is responsible for providing support services for all indoor and outdoor facilities and programs. They will oversee the operation of all athletic and physical education facilities. They will provide support services for related programs and prepare short and long-term facilities improvement plans.
Weekend and evening work is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of and ability to apply federal and state laws and regulations as well as university and BOR/CSCU policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to apply best practices of designated unit and program. Ability to collect, analyze, and prepare data. Ability to convene and collaborate with campus offices/departments, students, and community resources. Ability to handle complex tasks, meet deadlines, and prepare reports. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to use academic technologies, equipment, platforms, and software.

All applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in physical education or comparable degree
Experience and Training:
Credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above may be considered.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The Assistant Director Facilities Management (Athletic Facilities) is compensated at the Administrator III salary level in accordance with the State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF) Collective Bargaining Union Agreement.
