Other Conditions : Continuous recruitment until programmatic needs are met. For best consideration, review of applications will begin on August 8, 2024. Position is a temporary casual hire position and offers no benefits. Appointment through June 30, 2025, not to exceed 19.75 hours/week. Hours may vary. All positions require successful completion of a background check.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • *The Assistant Coach will assist with all aspects of NCAA Division I Women’s Beach Volleyball Program, including student recruitment and development, on court coaching, contest scheduling, compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University of Hawaii rules and regulations, student-athlete academic achievement, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach.
  • *Assist and participate in practices and intercollegiate competitions. Teach necessary skills from the basic fundamentals of beach volleyball to the techniques and strategies of advanced team play.
  • *Promote and foster a positive team environment, appropriate behavior, and sportsmanship by team members. Responsible for the conduct of team members both on and off the court.
  • *Promote and maintain an environment where the physical, mental, social and academic well-being of all student-athletes are a priority.
  • *Actively participates and takes an active role in fundraising, promotional, and public relation activities for the sports program.
