Duties and Responsibilities (*Denotes Essential Functions):
Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university;
One (1) year of experience coaching pole vault at the college or university level;
Knowledge of women’s track & field as competed at the collegiate level.
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
Valid driver’s license.
First Aid, CPR and AED certification by the employment start date.
Computer, cell phone, and social media technology competency.
or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated. Desirable Qualifications
Division I women’s track & field coaching experience.
Familiar with the ARMS Compliance Software.
Ability to understand and work effectively in Hawai‘i’s multi-cultural society.
