Position Summary:

The Cheer Apprentice will work closely with the Head Coach and coaching staff to support the development, growth, safety, and success of the cheerleading program. This position will assist with practices, athlete development, skill instruction, and team preparation while helping maintain a positive, disciplined, and team-first environment. The Cheer Apprentice is expected to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and operate within the coaching structure of the program. The Head Coach will maintain overall responsibility for team decisions, training plans, athlete assignments, competition preparation, and program direction.

The Cheer Apprentice should be willing to learn, take initiative, provide constructive feedback, and contribute consistently to the continued growth and success of the program.

Minimum Qualifications** :**

  • Previous competitive cheerleading and/or coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cheerleading technique, stunting, tumbling, jumps, and safety practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with collegiate athletes.
