The United States Air Force Academy Athletics Department seeks highly qualified applicants for the position of Spirit Program Director/Head Coed Cheer Coach. This is a full-time position and reports jointly to the Director of Athletics and CEO of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC).
The Spirit Program Director/Head Coed Cheer Coach is responsible for leading, instructing and providing Coed coaching expertise to Division I competitive cadet-athletes for the Air Force Academy Spirit Program. Coaching and providing individual instruction to all members of the varsity and Junior Varsity cheer and dance teams. Promote Academic excellence and Character Development to future Air Force Officers.
Successful candidates will be those that have extensive knowledge of USA Cheer guidelines for safety, demonstrated experience and success in coaching Collegiate Coed Spirit programs. Essential qualities expected of every staff member include the personal attributes of integrity, cooperation, initiative, and organizational management. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduates demonstrated excellence in developing character/leadership qualities on and off the field.

REQUIREMENTS :
Base salary range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00. Salary based on extensive and successful Division I experience coaching COED Spirit Program.

The United States Air Force Academy, located just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is an undergraduate institution that awards the Bachelor of Science degree as part of its mission to educate, train, and inspire men and women to become officers of character, motivated to lead in the United States Air Force and in service to our nation.
