Trinity Christian College is seeking applications for a part-time head cheerleading coach. Trinity Christian College seeks to cultivate an environment in which students flourish as they encounter the Triune God with their whole lives and discover the joy of their vocation. The head coach will evaluate, recruit, coach, and mentor, qualified student-athletes that will be a part of our cheerleading program. The successful candidate will oversee the organization of all team practices, events, and budgets and have a strong knowledge and commitment to the Trinity Christian College Gameday Experience. He/she will contribute to the health and vitality of the athletics department through strong collaboration with colleagues across campus and through positive participation in departmental projects, tasks, and/or operations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of the sport, be eager to learn and assist with all aspects of coaching, have strong people skills, be dedicated to enriching the experience of the student-athlete, and be committed to the development and success of the cheer program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate game day events
• Maintain CPR and First AID certification
• Manage and plan for program equipment, supplies, needs, etc.
• Participate in or lead tasks/projects as requested/assigned by the AVP
• Represent Trinity, the athletics department, and/or the AVP through participation in meetings/events, committees/task forces, etc.
• Engage with and provide service to regional and/or national associations
• Regularly identify and participate in professional/coaching development opportunities
