Club Sports Athletic Trainer
Oversee all medical aspects of the health, welfare, and safety of club sport athletes for the specific sports assigned.
This is a full-time, 10-month position
Prevention and care of injuries to club-athletes at practices and games both home and, in some instances, away. Work on a daily basis with student-athletes with treatment and rehab protocols associated with specific injuries.

This is a full-time, 10-month position
Prevention and care of injuries to club-athletes at practices and games both home and, in some instances, away. Work on a daily basis with student-athletes with treatment and rehab protocols associated with specific injuries.
Assist and monitor rehabilitation of athlete injuries. Apply therapeutic treatment, exercise, and education to students while considering the physical and psychological aspects of their injuries.
Perform evaluations and assessment of acute and chronic injuries to determine if an off campus or Student Health Center referral is necessary. Provide daily follow-up with student-athletes regarding specific injuries.
Assist the Associate Director in administrative responsibilities and other duties as needed.
Provide ongoing and timely communication with the supervisor as to injuries and illness as they arise. Establish communication protocols, both verbal and written, to ensure the supervisor is apprised of athlete injuries.
Perform all other duties as may be required.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
NATA
institution required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
National Athletic Trainers Association Certified Athletic Trainer,
Rhode Island Athletic Trainers license or eligible for.
Current First Aid/
CPR
/
AED
certified.
Athletic Training experience at the Intercollegiate level is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
