About this position

The Athletic Department is seeking a Head Men’s Baseball Coach for the 2024 season. Head coaches are responsible for the preparation of their team for competition, control of their team, handling the pressures of the game, and team/crowd control during injury situations. They are also responsible to support and follow the mission statement of the Maranatha Athletic Department: to develop leadership skills in the student-athlete through skilled training, godly mentoring, and inter-collegiate competition. This is a seasonal position.

About our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a servant leader who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with prior coaching experience. Must have athletics background in their specific sport including, but not limited to knowledge of training and conditioning techniques and the ability to diagnose player deficiencies and corrective activities. Must possess knowledge of the game and involvement in athletics

Expected qualifications include exemplary commitment to a local Baptist church, and comfort and commitment to promote biblical principles, both in word and deed, while seeking to prepare godly servants and leaders.

Statement of Faith - We believe in
