The Coaches Video Assistant is responsible for handling all aspects of filming, editing, and maintaining our databases of video used by the TCU football coaching staff as well as maintaining the equipment used to view or collect the data. This is a part-time twelve-month position.
The Coaches Video Assistant is responsible for handling all aspects of filming, editing, and maintaining our databases of video used by the TCU football coaching staff as well as maintaining the equipment used to view or collect the data. This is a part-time twelve-month position.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
• 3 years in camera operation and coaches video software knowledge.
• None
• High level of proficiency in using video software such as XOS, DVSport or any other comparable product.
• None
• Knowledge of coaching staff video software such as XOS, DVSport or other comparable product.
• Knowledge of hardware camera operation.
• Knowledge of electronics and testing of equipment related to maintenance and repair of audio-visual equipment.
• Skill in production or industrial video equipment operation.
• Ability to be adaptable and willing to learn new technologies as they are introduced and legalized into the game of college football including but not limited to Ipad/headset communication/wearable play devices.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face- to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 15 lbs.
• Work is indoors/outdoors and is not sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
• This is an on-campus and in-person role.
