Assists with practices, player development, and attends assigned team competitions, while ensuring compliance with Kennesaw State University (KSU), NCAA, and conference rules and regulations. Additionally, the position may involve supporting recruiting efforts to further the success of the athletics program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
1. Assists coaches and coaching staff in all aspects related to the assigned program
Works directly with student-athletes to improve their skills, performance, and overall development
Participates in team practices, drills, and scrimmages
Attends assigned team competitions and provides in-game coaching and feedback
Ensures adherence to KSU, NCAA, and conference rules and regulations
Reports any potential compliance issues to the Head Coach and appropriate authorities
May support the Head Coach in recruiting activities, including campus visits and communication with recruits
Serves as a Campus Security Authority as defined by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure

Educational Requirements
Associate's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
Current, and valid CPR/AED certification
Required Experience
One (1) year of related experience
Â
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience coaching in a post-secondary level program, professional athlete, professional tour participant or professional coach in a related sports program

ABILITIES
Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with student-athletes, faculty, staff and administrators
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Possesses a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, conference, State of Georgia and university policies, rules and regulations
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
