This role builds and maintains relationships with community and donors to promote the University and the Athletic Department, responding to various requests, and develops, conducts, and promotes community and donor programs and services.
This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Plan and execute several strategic community and donor engagement events throughout the year for the Athletic Department.
Plan and facilitate special events ranging from 20-1000+ guests sponsored by ICA (Wildcat Club, A-Club, and all other Departmental events). Includes formulating budgets, decorations, menus, volunteers, clean up, set-up, reservations, and communications.
Formulate bids, and work with outside vendors, such as hotels, printers, caterers, bands/entertainment.
Connect community and donors with strategic engagement opportunities across the Athletic Department.
Assist in general community relations and heritage efforts for ICA (non-profit tables, etc.).
Oversee intern program.
Oversee the Jim Click Hall of Champions Museum, displays and overall building maintenance and security.
Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures for heritage and artifact collection.
Assist with department communication and outreach initiatives such as museum media, sportsmanship initiative and departmental goals and principles signage.
Pay department invoices, track budgets, and prepare reports of statistical nature. Order and track supplies as needed for various community and donor engagement events yearly. Maintain inventory control of purchased items.
Additional duties as assigned.

Three years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience developing alumni engagement programs.
Experience with Constituent Relationship Management Software.
Experience in a higher education setting.
Experience with event management production.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
