Assists in the creation of monitoring systems and educates staff on NCAA, conference, Kennesaw State University and other governing rules, regulations and policies. Provides research and recommendations on educational outreach efforts and NCAA rules interpretations. Day to day specificities of job delegation will be assigned by department leadership.

Provides research and recommendations on NCAA rules interpretations and waiver submissions
NCAA Article 11 - Conduct and Employment of Athletics Personnel
a. Assists with Declaration of Staff Submissions
NCAA Article 13 - Recruiting
a. Monitors Contacts and Evaluations
b. Monitors and Approves Camps and Clinics
c. Monitors and Approves Official Visits
NCAA Articles 12 and 14 - Amateurism Eligibility and Academic Eligibility
a. Evaluates prospective student-athlete amateurism and initial eligibility pre-enrollment
NCAA Article 15 - Financial Aid
a. Assists with processing National Letters of Intent and Grants in Aid
NCAA Article 17 - Playing and Practice Seasons
a. Monitors Countable Athletically Related Activities
b. Monitors Time Management Plans
c. Monitors and Approves Playing and Practice Season Declarations
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Required Experience
One (1) year or experience related to the role
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with NCAA compliance
The budgeted salary range is $19.60 to $22.11 per hour. Offers are based on relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of recruiting and/or monitoring systems (i.e., JumpForward or ACS/FrontRush) and NCAA Applications (i.e., RSRO, LSDBi, Eligibility Center)
SKILLS
Interpersonal skills in dealing sensitively with a wide variety of constituents
Possess a learning orientation to changing technology impacting business processes
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
