Concessions Operations Coordinator
Manage the activities related to the concession operation at the following MSU athletic and multi-purpose facilities: Spartan Stadium, Munn Ice Arena, Breslin Student Events Center, Agriculture Pavilion, and Olympic event sites. Trains and supervises scheduled student employees and service group organizations. Handles procurement of food and supplies, assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensures departmental operations standards are met and other duties as assigned.

In the event of a university closure, modification, or suspension of operations due to snow or other emergency condition, persons in this position are expected to make all reasonable attempts to report to work as scheduled for the duration of the closure/suspension. If a person has an approved remote work agreement to work a portion of their normally scheduled work hours remotely, they may be called upon to work on-site to serve the MSU community.
Knowledge normally acquired from specialized training such as that required in the first two or three years of college, such as an Associates degree in a business-related field or in a field related to the area of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experiences in performing tasks related to the area of employment including supervision of multiple concession operations at medium or large facilities with attendance ranging from 2,000-75,000 guests; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in management of multiple concession facilities. Knowledge and experience in coordinating the preparation and stocking of multiple concessions stands, general food production, food service sanitation, catering, human resources, ordering supplies/material, projections.
